Family background: Only Child. Florian and Fleur Delacour are first cousins through their fathers.
Father: Emmanuel Delacour - Wizard. Mother: Ulrika nee Haglund - pure-blood Swedish witch. Both remained neutral in the First Wizarding War.
Florian's parents live in an ancient manor house outside Paris, Chateau Saint Martin. They make a living at breeding racehorses for muggles, hippogriffs and thestrals for Wizarding World and they taught Florian to ride from the very young age.

History: in the summer of 1993, a few months short of his sixteenth birthday, Florian was sent by his parents to live with his uncle and aunt in Inverness, Scottish Highlands. He transferred to Hogwarts autumn same year, where he was sorted in Hufflepuff.

Being a very likable, outgoing person, he quickly became friends with another 5th year, Cedric Diggory. The two shared their interest in Transfiguration and swimming and Florian, even though he never played Quidditch himself, became a fervent supporter of his house team.

It was not long before that the two boys realized they were deeply attracted to each other, and although they kept their relationship very private, they became lovers. In their 6th year, they grew a little bolder about it, publicly displaying some of their affection. When Florian's patronus changed from his former swan one, to badger, that was Cedric's, they understood that it was more than an infatuation between them, they were soulmates.

Being of age of consent, Florian and Cedric got bonded 2 weeks before the end of their 6th term. It was a private ceremony, held at Hogsmeade. Just an hour before the Third Task of the Triwizard Tournament, they announced the news to Cedric's parents who took it surprisingly well and invited Florian to spend summer holidays with them.

That same night, Florian's world shattered as Cedric was killed. He was one of the first few people to believe Harry and Dumbledore about Voldemort's return.

He spent the summer at Diggorys', mourning Cedric and returned to Hogwarts the following autumn to finish his studies.
He became a member of Dumbledore's Army, joined them in their resistance to Umbridge and the Ministry of Magic and shared their fate.

Upon graduation from Hogwarts, and following the death of his uncle only a few months later, he inherited a few thousand galleons and acquired a small farm in Ottery St. Catchpole, not far from his family-in-law with whom he maintains warm relations and often visits them. He also stays in touch with Harry and other DA members.

His life is peaceful though somewhat reclusive and overclouded by melancholy. He never stopped mourning for Cedric and stays faithful to him and his memory.

Personality: Florian's attitude is cool, easy-going, self-confident, frank, and a little proud. He doesn't care what others think or say about him, knowing that no matter where he goes, there will always be those who admire him and those who taunt him.

Preference: Openly gay.

Status: Bonded with Cedric Diggory on June 10, 1995 at the age of 17.





Appearance: Florian is pretty and flamboyant. He has dirty blond hair, that he usually styles spiky; lets it grow out a little when he's depressed, keeps it very short when he is happy. His eyes are hazel. He's 5 ft 8 tall, buff and toned.
When he's in his best mood, Florian gets dressed to the nines, he likes to add a touch of a bright color, pink or purple, by wearing a neck scarf and a glove on his left hand. He often wears eyeliner and paints his fingernails black. His left ear lobe is pierced, he used to have one very obvious piercing on his eyebrow as well but removed it as a sign of the mourning. He also has a tattoo on the small of his back, with the initials C and F intertwined.



Hobbies: painting, dancing, muggle and wizarding fashion. Florian dislikes team sports, never played Quidditch but he is an excellent swimmer and diver.

Strengths: Florian is animagus, he's also very talented in Transfiguration and Potions, even invented his own potion, Fatum Gauisus. One of his greatest strengths is perseverance.
